“Dust” delves into themes of historical memory, the erosion of time, and the invisible suffering embedded in modern society. Through a series of symbolic scenes, it portrays a world rife with fragmentation and disappearance, echoing the lingering aftermath of war and the mechanization and alienation brought about by the pandemic. By incorporating elements such as “silent smoke,” “standards,” “distant sirens,” “shattered sounds,” and “closed doors,” it constructs a setting that is both tangible and abstract.

Employing a multi-disciplinary approach with performance, video, and sound, the work reexamines how to preserve genuine perceptions of humanity and emotion amidst standardized routines and relentless societal progress. Simultaneously, it seeks to uncover whether, within the fractures and dust, it is still possible to retrieve those voices and memories that have seemingly vanished.
